![]() There can be a religion victory if your religion spreads around the world.Religion spreads automatically via temples (no religious spreader units).A religious temple building that gives a small amount of research, but more importantly spreads religion (also needed to accept a religion).There is a religion maker similar to the race maker choose name, affinity, unique spells, unique units, religious transformation bonuses, symbol, maybe more.New religions are founded by selecting a Pantheon to worship (from the AoW 4 Pantheon system).Criticise them all you want, but it would be more fun to see other ideas than criticisms of admittedly half-baked ideas. Maybe not all of these ideas are compatible. ![]() The fantasy here is, "What if the deities worshipped by ancestral peoples' had direct influence on the lives of heroes in the same way that sorcerous magic does?" If you don't understand why this is interesting, then this probably isn't the thread for you. What if AoW had religions? How might it work? Why would we want that? Here are some of my 2 cent ideas.ĭ&D is famous for a lot, but one of those things is making fantasy religion a staple in RPG games. I guess I should say right off the bat, this is NOT an April Fool's post, lol. Feel free to contribute any crazy idea you come up with.
